Day three of the Derek Chauvin trial was filled with tears and emotional testimonies of eyewitnesses who were there to see George Floyd’s final moments.
Political contributor Tezlyn Figaro joins Sharon Reed to discuss the importance of the witness testimonies comparing them to a spiritual occurrence.
“I think about the story of the ram in the bush, I think about that story and the Lord said that he would send everything you need,” Figaro said.
“So, when I look at the witnesses, I look at them as rams in the bush. If I had time to preach, I would preach a sermon called the bystanders because they were there for a reason.”
Figaro explains that pieces of the puzzle were placed perfectly for this trial with the MMA fighter, Off-Duty EMT, and several key witness videos on the scene.
Derek Chauvin faces charges of second-and third-degree murder and manslaughter.
