Footage Shows Police Officers Punch Brendan Morgan Multiple Times (Warning: Police Brutality)

There is another case of police brutality and it happened in the suburb of Detroit, Michigan.

Bodycam footage shows police officers punching a Black motorist during an attempted arrest. The officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call involving 34-year-old Brendan Morgan. In the video, one of the officers, Tyler Peake, approached Morgan’s car with his gun drawn and then punched him in the face several times before other officers pulled Morgan from his car and threw him to the ground.

Peake has since been charged with misconduct in office and assault, and he faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

Morgan’s attorney, Todd Perkins, joins Yodit Tewolde on β€œMaking the Case” to discuss his case.

All this and more on β€œMaking the Case.”
