Former President Trump Suing Facebook, Twitter and Google

Former President Donald Trump has announced a lawsuit against major tech and social media companies and their CEOs.

Trump said he was wrongfully censored by the three tech companies. He was suspended from the platforms after his followers stormed the Capitol building on January 6. The companies cited concerns that he would incite further violence. He is currently no longer allowed on any of the platforms. BNC’s Chief Legal Correspondent Dr. Laura McNeal joins “BNC Live” with Shannon LaNier to discuss the lawsuit. Dr. McNeal says it is highly unlikely Trump can prove what the companies did was not in good faith based on the Communications Decency Act.
