George Floyd Statue Unveiled as Brooklyn Celebrates Juneteenth


A statue commemorating the life of George Floyd was unveiled in New York City during a Juneteenth rally on Saturday morning. BNC’s Brittany Jones shares information about the sculpture on BNC Live.

Terrence Floyd, George’s brother, unveiled the 6-foot-tall sculpture by artist Chris Carnabuci. The statue will be on display at Flatbush Junction for nearly a month before being moved to Union Square in Manhattan.
