'Get Your Booty To The Poll': Political Ad Featuring Georgia Strippers Encourages People To Vote

This may not be safe for work, but it may open your eyes to some issues that need to be addressed in the 2020 election and may make some look at the political process in this country.

Seven Georgia strippers released an important message for this election season “Get Your Booty to the Poll” is a project started with two Atlanta-based filmmakers, Paul Fox and Angela Gomes.

They organized a GoFundMe in July called “Angela and Paul want Black people to vote.” They promised to those who donated to use the money to shoot and distribute a public service announcement featuring dancers from some of Atlanta’s finest gentlemen clubs.

Angela Gomes, director of the controversial video spoke with Roland Martin during Monday’s edition of #RMU about the polarizing political advertising and the uproar over it.
