A man who had only been out of jail for two days is in custody for plowing through a Wisconsin Christmas parade in an SUV, killing at least five people and injuring more than 40.
Darrell Brooks is facing five charges of intentional homicide charges for careening through barricades and running over dozens of people watching and participating in the Waukesha parade.
Several children are among the injured. Authorities expect the death toll to go up as well as additional charges for Brooks.
Waukesha Police Chief says there is no evidence of terrorism in the event.
