The Georgia Kanagroos lost to ELW Takeover during Game 2 of the Hoop It Up men’s quarter finals in Atlanta on Sunday.
Although it began as a close game, ELW Takeover held the GA Kanagroos at 13 points for the last nearly three minutes of the game.
Point guard Christopher Newell scored 13 of the 21 points. He joins BNC’s Aiyana Cristal to talk about the electrifying game.
“We just kept fighting today,” Newell tells Cristal about pulling away in the last few minutes of the game.
ELW Takeover faces off against 3Ball Minnesota during the semi-finals.
