It Was An 'Open Secret': Country Star Morgan Wallen Canceled After Using Racial Slur

Country Star Morgan Wallen has been suspended indefinitely from his label after his neighbor recorded him shouting the n word as he was coming home from a night out in Nashville.

Wallen has apologized and taken responsibility however the fallout has been significant.

Radio stations have removed his music from their playlists and the country music industry has denounced him.

Wallen’s Record company Big Loud Records put out a statement on instagram saying it “has made the decision to suspend Morgan wallets recording contract indefinitely. Republic Records fully supports Big Loud’s decision and agrees such behavior will not be tolerated.”
