Oct. 1 is the deadline for thousands of Georgia health care workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or risk losing their jobs.
According to a Kaiser Family Foundation survey, 73% of Hispanic adults and 70% of Black adults have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
This comes at a time where state officials are warning against another surge this holiday season. With all the staffing shortages, health experts are concerned because they are exhausted.
