Day ten in the jury selection process will begin with twelve jurors seated and two needed. BNC legal correspondent Candace Kelley joined Start Your Day with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to discuss a significant decision that could come down from Judge Peter Cahill. He is expected to announce if the trial will be delayed or moved out of Hennepin County. The request for change came from Derek Chauvin’s legal team after a $27 million settlement was awarded to George Floyd’s family from Minneapolis. On Wednesday, Cahill reinterviewed jurors who were already seated and two were dismissed because they revealed they could not be impartial after hearing about the million-dollar settlement.
