Ketanji Brown Jackson To Bring Black Female Experience to SCOTUS

Itโ€™s a historical day in the making as Ketanji Brown Jackson is now the first Black woman nominated to become a Supreme Court Justice.

Jackson is expected to meet with senators next week, which is a common practice for nominees. Qualified and capable were two words used to describe Brown Jackson, who was nominated by the President Joe Biden today to the Supreme Court.

If confirmed by the Senate, she will bring to the high court what it has lacked for 233 years, the lived experience of a Black woman.

Political strategist Jotaka Eaddy joins Kelly Wright on โ€œThe World Tonightโ€ talk about how this will matter for those younger generations.
