Kim Potter Testifies With Closing Arguments Beginning Dec. 20

Former Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, police officer Kim Potter, who faces manslaughter charges for fatally shooting 20-year-old Daunte Wright, gave a highly anticipated testimony today in her own trial.

The 26-year veteran broke down a couple of times as she spoke about that fatal traffic stop in April.

Potter has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and closing arguments begin on Dec. 20.

C.K. Hoffler, chairwoman of the Rainbow Push Coalition and former president of the National Bar Association, joins guest host Laverne McGee on β€œPrime” to discuss Potter’s testimony and what she expects in the closing arguments.

All this and more on β€œPrime.”
