With under 40 days until election day, voters in Georgia have requested 1.1 million vote by mail ballots and the number continues to grow with 32% of the requests coming from Black voters.
The Georgia Republican Party joined the Republican National Committee Tuesday in appealing a federal court decision requiring the counting of absentee ballots received up to three days after the Nov. 3 election. This is just one more effort to disenfranchise voters and specifically African American voters.
