Marc Lamont Hill Shares Thoughts on Sha’Carri Richardson Missing Olympics Due to Failed Drug Test

Marc Lamont Hill opens up “Black News Tonight” discussing American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson failing a drug test, resulting in a 30-day suspension which will see her miss the Olympic -100-meter race. Richardson apologized for the usage, taking responsibility for her actions.

Her suspension ends July 27, which means she could race at the 4×100 women’s relay.

“Marijuana is not a performance enhancing drug,” Hill says.

Hill is also joined by Oyin Adedoyin, a Baltimore Sun reporter, to discuss Howard University Dean and actress Phylicia Rashad’s tweet in defense of Bill Cosby.

All this and more on “Black News Tonight.”
