Melik Abdul Analyzes Condoleezza Rice’s Controversial CRT Comments

The debate over critical race theory continues to be an ongoing conversation.

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice criticized CRT during her appearance on ABC’s “The View” this week, arguing in part that making “white kids feel bad for being white” is not the way to uplift Black children.

She recalled her upbringing in segregated Birmingham, Alabama, suggesting Black kids should be taught in schools how to overcome prejudice by being told they can be whatever they want to be.

GOP strategist Melik Abdul joins Aisha Mills on “Black News Tonight” to discuss Rice’s comments.

All this and more on “Black News Tonight.”
