BNC correspondent Stephanie Bertini reports about the family of 19-year-old Miya Marcano, whose body was discovered on Oct. 2 after she went missing last month, seeking justice in her death.
Armando Caballero, 27, a maintenance worker at Marcano’s apartment complex, was found dead by suicide before Marcano’s body was found and identified. Caballero was the main suspect in her disappearance.
The family’s attorney, Daryl Washington, said the sheriff deputies didn’t do enough to detain Caballero.
