Stained glass windows depicting themes of racial justice will replace windows that honored Confederate Generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson at the Washington National Cathedral.
The cathedral decided to remove the windows of Lee and Jackson in 2017, following a national reckoning over Confederate imagery in the wake of the racial unrest in Charlottesville, Virginia.
