The U.S. State Department reports up to 50,000 women and children are forced into sexual slavery in the United States every year. A film in production aims to shed light on the world of human trafficking and the people who fall prey to its predators. Meiko Taylor is the CEO of The Power Project and she is also responsible for the development of the film. Taylor joins “Black News Tonight” with The Power Project’s program manager Chloe Vega, to discuss human trafficking prevention and the staggering statistics of sex slavery.
