NY Times Reporter Frances Robles on the Latest in Haiti and Cuba


Haitian officials arrested a doctor that who was located in Florida, whom they believe is a suspect in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.

Christian Emmanuel Sanon was the first person that Moïse assailants called after the killing during a raid on Sanon’s residence. Sanon had been openly critical of the Haitian government over allegations of corruption.

Also, 80 protestors and activists have been arrested in Cuba as they protested economic woes, such as food and medicine shortages. They have called for President Miguel Díaz-Canel to step down. New York Times national foreign correspondent Frances Robles joins Charles Blow on “Prime” discussing the situations in Haiti and Cuba.
