Charles Blow sits down with NYC mayoral candidate Eric Adams about his last-minute push to become New York City’s top official. Adams is currently leading in the polls ahead of Tuesday’s primary.
Blow grills Adams on the recent endorsement from former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani and his past support of the controversial Stop and Frisk policy.
“I was the leading voice, with the 100 Blacks in law enforcement, to stop the abuse of Stop and Frisk,” Adams says. “We’re talking about those who are not part of the movement, hijacking my record and using it as a talking point.”
