We may see gas prices rise again.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, will slash its oil production by 2 million barrels per day.
This will be the largest slowdown since the beginning of the pandemic, and it represents 2-percent of the world’s supply.
OPEC’s decision comes just weeks before the 2022 midterm elections.
During today’s press conference, CNBC’s Hadley Gamble asked Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister if the decision to cut oil production was a power play.
According to AAA, the national average is $3.831.
