Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner is responsible for launching the progressive prosecutor movement.
He ran for district attorney in 2017 and was elected on a platform to end mass incarceration, reversing the damage done by his predecessors in the infamously corrupt district attorney’s office. Krasner has experience as a public defender in fighting corruption among cops and prosecutors.
He joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to talk about his priorities on bail reform, gun violence and systemic racism.
