President Elect Joe Biden has nominated Miguel Cardona, the commissioner of Connecticut public schools as his Education Secretary.
Last year the 45 year old was named Connecticut’s top schools official. If confirmed he will have moved from an assistant superintendent to secretary of education in less than 2 years.
