Remmington Belford, the communications director for Yvette Clarke, speaks to BNC on the US Capitol being placed on lockdown after a car rammed into a security check.
One police officer is dead and the other is injured. The suspect was also killed.
Belford said that some security measures put in place after the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol were rolled back recently and that they may need to be put back up for the foreseeable future.
