Retired LAPD sergeant Cheryl Dorsey on Isaiah Brown shooting

Yodit Tewolde talks to Cheryl Dorsey, retired LAPD sergeant, about the shooting of 32-year-old Isaiah Brown, who was shot ten times by a Spotsylvania County deputy.

Brown reportedly got a ride home from the deputy after his car broke down last week. After the cop left, Brown called 911, which resulted in the officer arriving back at the house, where they reportedly returned to the home and opened fire.

β€œWe see officers time and time again show great restraint when they’re dealing with people who look like them,” Dorsey says.
