During his trip to Ghana, Roland Martin had an opportunity to sit down with Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo for an exclusive interview discussing “The Year of Return.”

More than 750,000 visas have been given this year from the United States alone. African Americans have been returning in abundance this year, and thousands are still there now. There are so many people arriving in Ghana this month, Ghana is granting visas-on-arrival for the next month to accommodate the heavy load.

Roland’s interview with his excellency Nana Akufo-Addo is the ONLY interview he has granted to an American journalist discussing “The Year of Return” initiative.
