SCOTUS To Hear Appeal to Allow Alabama To Use Congressional Map


The Supreme Court has decided to hear an appeal to its decision to allow Alabama to use its new voter map for this year’s midterm elections.

The Supreme Court’s decision upholding a congressional map with only one predominantly Black district out of the seven districts in the state. The move all but assures that Republicans will maintain their 6-1 advantage in congressional seats in Alabama.
