United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is currently in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19.
According to a statement from the Department of Defense, Secretary Austin is experiencing “mild symptoms.” He last met with President Joe Biden on Dec. 21, 2021, and he was in the Pentagon on Dec. 30, 2021. He says he has informed the president’s team and contact tracing is underway.
