Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault. In California, there is an investigation into a sexual abuse scandal and widespread cover-up at one of the few federal women’s prisons in the country.
The investigation by the associated press reveals that the prison in Dublin, California has been a cesspool of rape, sexual abuse and retaliation by prison guards and workers with corruption going up as high as the warden.
Mike Balsamo, the lead Justice Department reporter at the AP, who conducted the investigation and wrote the story, and BNC legal contributor Paul Henderson join Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss.
