Sharon and Mike discuss Diddy’s open letter to General Motors and other companies on how they need to reinvest equitably into Black media companies, considering how much Black people contribute to the economy.

According to the entrepreneur, brands spent less than 1% in Black-owned media companies, despite spending $239 billion in advertising alone in 2019.

“Fifteen percent, if that’s what we represent of the revenue, then it should be more,” Sharon says.
