Adam Toledo, a 13-year-old boy, was shot and killed by police in Chicago. According to the Chicago Police Department, the incident happened in the city’s Little Village neighborhood when law enforcement responded to a call of multiple gunshots and two males in an alley. The teen’s family is demanding answers about the incident and is seeking “justice for this reprehensible crime.” Body-camera footage from the shooting was released and “Start Your Day” hosts Sharon Reed and Mike Hill discussed Toledo’s death. “Adam Toledo did what the officer told him to do at that time,” Hill said, citing that the teen had his hands raised as the officer instructed.
