A new study conducted by Groupon and a mathematician revealed that being stuck in quarantine with someone for one year was equivalent to being with them for four years. Relationship expert Spicy Mari of “The Spicy Life” podcast joined “Start Your Day” with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to give advice to those struggling with relationships during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Her advice to those who are single and stuck in the house during quarantine is to be open to communication and get to know new people. “Right now, locations are starting to open up, so as much as you can get out, get out the house based on your hobbies,” she said. Citing months of isolation and quarantine caused by the pandemic, she said it tested and revealed things about relationships.
