Patrick Ewing, a former New York Knicks player and NBA Hall of Famer, said he was ‘accosted’ by security at Madison Square Garden Thursday.

“Stop it, MSG security,” Hill said. “This man played many years there. How many 7-footers are walking around Madison Square Garden that looks like Patrick Ewing that isn’t Patrick Ewing?”
Reed spoke about her experiences at Georgetown University, where Ewing is the head coach of the men’s basketball team. The morning show co-hosts also used the moment to also speak about the disparities that exist throughout society for Black people.
