Nearly 150,000 Native Americans live in Georgia according to the Native voting rights group Four Directions.
Of the estimated 100,000 who are of voting age, only about 15,000 are registered to vote.
Organizers and tribal leaders believe that if even a few thousand more Native Americans would vote, they could play a role in flipping the Senate in the upcoming runoff election.
OJ Semans, Founder of Four Directions spoke with Roland Martin about the impact Donald Trump and a Republican controlled Senate have had on Native Americans around the country as well as how Native Americans can have a major impact on the Georgia runoff elections.
