The Black News Channel’s long awaited launch was at 6:00 am today. The network is owned by Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shadid Khan and former Oklahoma congressman J.C. Watts. The goal of the 24 hour news channel is to be culturally specific to the African American community.
The network is expected to reach 33 million households.
