‘This Is Pure Jim Crow’: GA Rule Could Stop People From Registering To Vote If They Don’t Have A Car

Republicans are continuing their attempts to suppress the votes of African Americans.

In their latest blatant attempt to steal an election and disenfranchise Black voters, Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is trying to institute a new rule that could block new registrations before the Senate runoff.

Raffensperger Is targeting people who don’t have a car registered in the state.

The Georgia Secretary of State claims that people from out of state will be driving into Georgia to register to vote in the upcoming runoff. This insidious rule would knock out voters who don’t have cars.

Investigative Reporter, Greg Palast spoke with Roland during Monday’s edition of #RMU about this new attempt to block access to the ballot box.

Don’t forget, the Georgia Runoff Election is on January 5th. Voters have until December 7th to register. In person voting starts December 14th.
