On Thursday, three of those lawmakers who fled Texas to stop the passage of the GOP voting legislation testified on Capitol Hill about the impact of the Texas bill’s restrictions on their communities.
Roland spoke with Texas State Representatives Nicole Collier, the Chair of the Texas Legislative Black Caucus, and Rep. Senfronia Thompson,
two of the lawmakers who spoke before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
