Three Texas Democrats Back in State to End Quorum Break

Almost two months ago, Republicans in the Texas House were about to pass restrictive voting measures.

As a result, Texas Democrats left the state and flew to Washington, D.C. in protest of the legislation. After the longest quorum break, three Democrats crossed the proverbial picket line and returned to the House. They released a joint statement that said, “Now, we continue the fight on the House floor.”

They later added Texasโ€™ COVID-19 response was the main reason for their return to the state.

BNC contributor Tezlyn Figaro and GOP Strategist Melik Abdul join Marc Lamont Hill on โ€œBlack News Tonightโ€ to talk about the three Texas Democratsโ€™ decision to return to the state.

All this and more on โ€œPrime.โ€
