The National Association of Black Journalists is calling for the immediate termination of the President of CBS Stations Peter Dunn and Senior Vice President of News David Friend. Last night, NABJ held a meeting after an LA Times article was released in the morning detailing a toxic work environment at the company and racially-charged misconduct by both Dunn and Friend.
After confirming the reports with members who work for the network, The National Association for Black Journalists believes that in order for CBS’ culture to be transformed, it must begin with the firing of Dunn and Friend.
Meg James, Staff Writer for the LA Times spoke with Roland Martin about the story she wrote that exposed the misconduct by two major players at CBS.
