Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, Dr. Johnetta Cole and a number of protesters were arrested Thursday for participating in a voting rights demonstration outside of the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C.
Lee is the third Black House Democrat to be arrested in three weeks while protesting Republican voter suppression and demanding the Senate pass voting rights legislation.

The jury found Buck guilty on all nine felony counts, including two counts of distribution of controlled substances resulting in death, stemming from the deaths of Gemmel Moore in July 2017 and Timothy Dean in January 2019. [https://bit.ly/3zNp1nv]
