'We're At War As Africans In America': Civil Rights Activist Rev. Sampson On Fight Against Oppressor


Roland Martin spoke with activist and civil rights minister Reverend Albert “Al” Sampson about the centennial commemoration of the Tulsa Race Massacre.

Sampson is one of only two preachers that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ordained.

Rev. Sampson told Roland the we must “remember the the pathology of white people attempting to destroy our legacy our history and our economic strategy or liberation.”

He later added, “We are at war as Africans in America.”
