A Michigan father sues a school district for cutting biracial daughter’s hair.
Jimmy Hoffmeyer filed a $1 million dollar lawsuit against Mt. Pleasant Public School for racial discrimination, ethnic intimidation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and assault and battery.
Hoffmeyer claims the school violated his daughter’s rights after having her hair cut on two separate occasions while his daughter, Jurnee, was at school.
