Over the weekend Pro trump rallies took place in Downtown D.C. Members of the far-right group the Proud Boys attended the rally which turned violent. 4 people were stabbed and over 20 people were arrested when Trump supporters and counter demonstrators clashed.
Black Churches including Asbury United Methodist Church and Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church were vandalized and Black Lives Matters signs were burned.
The rallies are now being investigated as possible hate crimes.
Karl Racine, Attorney General of the District of Columbia and President Elect of the National Association of Attorneys General spoke with Roland Martin about the shocking displays of violence and the desecration of Black churches.
