Re-Sentencing Hearing Held for Pervis Payne After Taken Off Death Row


Pervis Payne has spent 30 years living on death row.

He has an intellectual disability but was sentenced to death anyway after being convicted of a double murder back in 1987.

Last month, Payneโ€™s death sentence was vacated and now a judge is deciding whether heโ€™ll ever be able to walk out of prison a free man.
