One of the major issues for women of color in the corporate world is gender inequality.
Unfortunately, Black women are still significantly underrepresented as it relates to leadership roles, which means that their voices aren’t heard.
There is a new study to back up their point, as it’s found that for every 100 men promoted in the job force, only 58 black women might get the same opportunity, including at the entry-level.
Charles Blow had the opportunity to speak to Ursula Burns, who is the author of her book, “Where You Are Is Not Who You Are.” Also, she is the first Black woman to be a CEO of a Fortune 500 company.
