“Black News Tonight” host Marc Lamont Hill brings his opinions to the Digital Streets, sending well wishes to actress Stacey Dash after she revealed she was formerly addicted to painkillers.
Dash made the revelation on “The Dr. Oz Show.” Now five years sober, the “Clueless” actress shared her struggle after being prescribed Vicodin to help with a fibroid cyst, leading to an addiction. Actress Letitia Wright addressed recent reports from the Hollywood Reporter claiming she was spreading anti-vax rhetoric on set, saying “the report spoke about my conduct on the set of ‘Black Panther 2.’ I honestly assert that this was completely untrue.”
In an interview with Ebony magazine, Colin Kaepernick stated that the NFL was blackballing him for his activism, but he won’t let them win. He continues working out five to six days a week, staying prepared for an opportunity to get back into the league and prove team owners wrong.
