Charles Blow sits down with television judge Greg Mathis on why Black people need to get vaccinated.
Mathis details the personal loss he’s experienced due to COVID-19.
“We have to have trusted messengers,” Mathis says on how to get more Black Americans vaccinated. “We need more of an educational campaign. Most people don’t know that a… sister played a significant role in overseeing the Moderna vaccine. Black scientists and doctors were involved altogether. We need to tell that story and build trust.”
