According to police, a protester fatally stabbed a brigadier general in the east African nation’s capital of Khartoum.
In Uganda, outspoken political figure Bobi Wine is urging his supporters to wear polarizing red berets, reigniting a feud with the country’s authorities. The musician-turned-politician and leader of the National Unity Platform popularized the red beret, especially among younger Ugandans back in 2018 amid his rise to political prominence with his group People Power.
