In Illinois, Judge Robert Adrian has come under fire for overturning the sexual assault conviction of 18-year-old Drew Clinton.
During a bench trial, Adrian found the 18-year-old Clinton guilty of sexually assaulting an unconscious 16-year-old girl during a graduation party.
In Baltimore, Marilyn Mosby, the city’s top prosecutor, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that include perjury and making false statements.
According to court documents, Mosby is charged with falsely claiming financial hardship from COVID-19 to get an early withdrawal from her retirement account.
