Texas Dems Return After Stalling GOP Voting Bill

Texas House Democrats are back in the Lone Star State after breaking quorum over a GOP voting bill.

However, Texas Democrats like Representative Jarvis Johnson, say that they want to make it clear that this fight against voter suppression isn’t over.

“They are going to go into recess until Monday, now why would you do that? Why would you go into recess until Monday? Because they know they don’t have a quorum to take a vote,” said Johnson.

Criminal defense attorney and Vice President of the Atlanta Chapter of the NAACP, Gerald Griggs, joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss the standoff in Texas.

All this and more on “Making the Case.”
